Below is our recent interview with Stefan Chekanov, CEO at Brosix:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Brosix?

A: In short, Brosix is a secure team Instant Messaging (IM) solution that aims to increase team collaboration through secure internal communication. While we offer a free personal IM app, the main focus of our business is our enterprise service through which we provide our clients (companies, corporations, and other organizations) with the internal communication tools they need to increase their team collaboration and keep their communication secure. We do this through our private and secure internal communication networks which give our clients a team communication structure that wraps all the tools they need in one package: direct messaging, chat rooms, peer to peer file transfer, virtual collaboration tools, etc.

We are also a company which has had security as a top priority from our very beginning. We have always recognized the importance of security in business communication, which is why we have built our own business with this focus in mind. This has led us develop features that help our clients keep their data and communications safe and private.

Q: Can you give us insights into your features?

A: Our features aim to increase the efficiency of internal communication and collaboration. We provide a wide range of IM features through our app including text, audio and visual chat, chat rooms, screensharing and remote desktop, virtual whiteboard, and unlimited file transfers, to name a few. We also have a series of enterprise features aimed at helping our clients best manage and administer their private team networks. Our goal here is to provide our clients with full control over their team network in order to customize it to best fit their needs.

One of the things that sets us at Brosix apart from many of the other team communication solutions on the market is that all of these features come in an easy to use and totally secure network. All data and information sent through our clients’ private networks are completely secure, helping our clients protect themselves from external cybersecurity threats and keep their information private. This is done through a range of features, from secure servers and infrastructure, to data encryption on all communication channels using the AES 256-bit encryption algorithm.

Q: What are the benefits of using Brosix Enterprise Instant Messenger?

A: We seek out feedback from our clients on a regular basis, and they frequently share with us the wide range of benefits they experience through their use of Brosix. While the benefits are wide-ranging, and clients share new benefits that they discover on an ongoing basis, the main ones we like to highlight are related to increased team efficiency and productivity, reduced communication costs, and data security and easy compliance with a range of regulations.

One of the most immediate benefits that our clients see relates to a decrease in communication costs. The fact that we provide our clients with all of the communication tools they need in one competitively priced network saves them money by removing the need for multiple platforms and services.

Q: Why is efficient internal communication important?

A: As work becomes more collaborative in nature, and less individual and repetitive, communication has taken a more central role in many businesses. We believe that in this increasingly dynamic modern work environment, quick and efficient communication is key to the success of any business. The ability of colleagues to send and receive information in a timely manner will largely determine their overall productivity.

This efficient internal communication should not, however, come at the cost of security. Given the numerous external cybersecurity threats, it’s not only a question of efficient communication, but also secure communication. Q: What can we expect from Brosix in the future?

A: We’re working to develop and improve Brosix across all of our platforms, from Windows, Linux and Mac, to iOS and Android versions, in order to provide the highest quality customer experience possible. We’re also actively working on a feature to allow our clients to link their internal networks with partner organizations. This will allow them to communicate and share information with each other in order to work on common projects or initiatives, while still keeping their private internal communication networks separate.

On a broader level, we are committed to continuing to develop innovative features for our clients that will allow them to take their internal team communication to an even higher level. Coupled with our commitment to cybersecurity and data privacy, we are excited to continue to develop as leaders in the field of secure business instant messaging.
