Q: Who are the primary users of Velocity software applications and what are some of the key challenges you are helping them solve?
A: Our software solutions are used by companies of various sizes in a variety of industries from insurance, to engineering, to real estate. Every organization has internal processes that influence the overall success of the company and our software solutions digitize and automate these by identifying pain points or areas of greater potential and making the processes more efficient and highly optimized. We are not limited by size or line of business and solve for inefficiencies and high costs associated with manually executed business processes. Our solutions ultimately help companies scale their operations, making them more competitive, helping them to save resources and making sure they run like a well-oiled machine.
Q: You’ve recently launched benchQA test automation software for K2; tell us something more?
A: We recognized the need to rapidly and reliably test the automations we were building for our customers, so benchQA actually started out as a tool for our internal use and as a way of meeting the high standards of solutions we were building for clients. We then realized that this product could also meet the needs of others testing their K2 automations, and so we began to package the application for introduction to market. A lot of work and expertise has gone in to its development and with every release we add new functions and features that make this product extremely powerful.

Q: What is unique about benchQA and how does it stand out from competition?
A: At the moment, we are among the pioneers in creating a tool as specific as benchQA and have put our 15 years of K2 experience into delivering this very sophisticated and competitive product. The careful planning and design which incorporate knowledge gained over more than a decade of building software solutions really come through in its ease of use, powerful functions and clean interface. Its lightweight design enables users to easily get up to speed with the features it provides and its great value is quite evident to those who have used it.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your services?
A: Our main focus is providing bespoke business transformation services through the expert use of digital software solutions. This can include process automation and optimization, developing dashboards that pull data from a company’s various sources and all underlying services and support that makes business transformation a reality for organizations. We start by defining a strategy and a roadmap and then proceed to creating designs and prototypes to showcase proposed solutions to customers, ensuring the solutions fulfill their needs and cost expectations. We then build the solutions, assist throughout the adoption phase and offer personalized and ongoing support.

Q: What are your plans for keeping Velocity on the forefront of technology innovation?
A: We are constantly investing in research and technology development. We have an internal innovation incubator where we turn ideas into working solutions and use those as the basis for our product and service development. We contribute a lot to the technical community by sharing our ideas on our blog, providing ideas and benefiting from feedback on our research. This hunger for innovation and technical collaboration shapes our products and services significantly.
