Weblytica is a workflow and process automation agency. Here is our interview with Andy O’Neil, the Founder and CEO of Weblytica:
Q: Andy, can you explain what you do?
A: We work with small- and medium-sized businesses to help them save massive amounts of time and effort by eliminating redundant and error-prone tasks from their daily, weekly and monthly workflow.
We provide packaged workflow and process automation services around many of the most popular cloud-based applications. Our mission is to help businesses run more efficiently, serve their customers better, and gain an edge over their competitors.
Q: What types of tasks do you recommend your clients to automate?
A: When it comes to automating your business, it’s important to look for tasks that:
• Are Repetitive – These tasks are often daily tasks that are simply “rinse and repeat” tasks.
• Don’t Require a Human – These are tasks that a trained monkey could do, tasks that really don’t take any higher brain power such as copy and paste tasks.
• Are Error-Prone – These are tasks that, if done incorrectly, can introduce errors into your business systems.
• Don’t Scale – These are tasks that you couldn’t possibly complete by yourself if your business workload (i.e. sales, lead generation, etc.) suddenly spiked to 10 or 100 times what it is today.
Q: What types of services do you offer to your clients?
A: Weblytica offers workflow and process automation services that allow for the movement of data and information between multiple cloud-based services.
Below is a recent automated process that Weblytica built for a client. This automated process starts when a new WooCommerce (e-Commerce platform) order is received. This particular automated process integrates with HubSpot and QuickBooks Online and uses Office 365 Mail to send email notifications each time the automated process runs.
Prior to building this automation, this process required my client to spend 20-30 minutes per order adding the necessary records to HubSpot and QuickBooks Online. This was a manual process that was highly repetitive, error-prone and was not a scalable process.
Once this automated workflow was deployed, this entire business process, which used to take 20-30 minutes, now takes only 12 seconds to complete. This process of only one of many time-saving processes this client now utilizes.
In addition to HubSpot and Quickbooks Online, here are just a few of the other applications we can work with on behalf of our clients:
Financial: Freshbooks, PayPal, Quickbooks Online, Stripe, Toggl
Data Storage: Amazon Web Services (S3), Dropbox, OneDrive, FTP, SFTP
Database / CRM: Airtable, Knack, mySQL, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce
eCommerce: Shopify, WooCommerce

Q: What makes digital integration & automation hard?
A: The hardest part for clients getting started with digital integration and automation is that it’s a bit of an abstract concept. We often find it difficult to explain how automation works and what is possible for a client’s unique business case without a one-on-one discovery meeting. However, once our clients see what we can do for their business, they often turn into long-term clients who leverage automation as a significant part of their business strategy.
As an agency ,the most difficult challenge for Weblytica is keeping up with the changes in the cloud-based applications we automate for our clients. Weblytica has automated and integrated over 100 of the most popular web applications for our clients. We work every day to stay aware of the constant flow of changes to best serve our clients.
Q: What makes you a leader in digital integration and automation services?
A: Providing workflow and process automation services for clients requires a specific set of skills that we have developed over the past 15 years. Required skills include:
• An understanding of how to work with the application protocol interfaces (APIs) of 100s of cloud-based applications
• An understanding of the capabilities and functionalities of integration platforms used to connect these platforms
• An ability to clearly and logically create processes that are efficient and robust enough to handle a company’s workflow day-in and day-out
• A willingness to monitor constant changes technology and use this information to better serve our clients
Q: What are the company’s plans and goals for the future?
A: Weblytica is currently making a significant shift to focus more on bringing quality workflow and process automation services to small- and medium-sized businesses. Our focus is to provide service for the most popular cloud-based business applications in order to help businesses run more efficiently, serve their customers better, and gain an edge over their competitors.
