Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Gencap Management is a private equity/venture capital firm that operates in the US capital markets. We look for catalyst-driven private and public companies to make strategic investments in.
Q: Can you give us more insights into what makes your company unique?
A: We operate as a family office, so we have no outside capital and no specific mandates on investment strategy or thesis. This allows us to be flexible and nimble when investing. We are able to grow strong relationships with our portfolio companies and understand the growth potential of each opportunity.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: We hope to continue to grow and deploy capital into some great small but growing companies. We also hope to be able to start attending investment conferences in person!

Q: What are some of the main objectives for your company in the year ahead and how do you plan to achieve them?
A: Our main objective as always is to realize a return on investment. We’ve built a strong portfolio of strong and reliable investments. This year we’re hoping to see several portfolio companies IPO. We’re also looking to see how our investment capital helps propel portfolio companies to the next level.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: The best thing about our firm is our team. Success is rarely achieved alone, we’re very lucky to have a strong core team that has helped us grow over the years.
