Below is our recent interview with Alex Williams, Founder of The Ethereality Institute:

Alex Williams

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to The Ethereality Institute?

A: The Ethereality Institute is a new education and innovation development company I founded in 2016. Its motto is “See the Waves, Be the Waves, Move the Waves” to indicate a new wave of advancements or simply a new era of being, like the new age. The Institute started out as a consulting company for spirituality, holistic health and the like, but I have now incorporated innovation development to what we do. I am aiming for the Institute to be the cutting-edge company in the tech field via innovation development, which is just a formal way of saying that we will be creating genius-level products & services across various industries. Yet, for now, the Institute is doing exactly what an institute does: Teaching & educating. As I would like to say “With great genius comes great acceleration”.

Q: What is the main objective of the Ethereality Institute?

A: We are a spiritually-based company first and foremost, so our core objective is to bring the world into a new mode & understanding of spirituality (hence the name ‘Ethereality’, which symbolizes a change but essentially is synonymous with ‘spirituality’) as it relates to our new civilization of rapid advances in technology. Our future innovations will be spiritually-based or at least spiritually inspired. However, the Ethereality Institute will lead with the utmost practicality in all our endeavors; I myself noticed how many New Age products and services can be impractical and over-idealized without any real grounding to them, and this is crucial to have in a society of growing skeptics or when you’re dealing with people who have no prior knowledge of or interest in spirituality. Our company understands spirituality—or, in our space, ‘ethereality’—to be the most advanced type of technology, and with this understanding, with the pragmatism added, we will provide our works to society.

Q: How did you come up with the idea of ‘The Inner Work Suite’ course?

A: ‘The Inner Work Suite’ is an extension or the full version of the ‘Emotional Baggage Claim’ mini-course we launched in November 2018. The ‘Emotional Baggage Claim’ method is something I came up with in 2016 when I was first started the Ethereality Institute. The method is based on social media use, actually; I was writing down some past events that happened in my past like anyone would do to confront & come to terms with their baggage in a notebook. Then it dawned on me to write down these past traumatic and/or unresolved events in a way that would accommodate the modern-day user of social media, smartphone technology, and texting lingo. From there I developed this whole system of addressing inner baggage that lurks in the back of our minds, influencing what we do subconsciously, right there in that one sitting. Two years went by and I came across the online teaching platform Teachable, and that’s when I knew it was time to present my new method to the world; everything just fell & clicked into place after that. About a month later after the ‘Emotional Baggage Claim’ mini-course was released, I began expanding on the whole emotional baggage process by adding a few more innovative methods to continue the inner healing. That’s where ’The Inner Work Suite’ came forth; I saw it as a deluxe collection of applications that could be utilized to assist people mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Q: What are your short & long-term goals for the Ethereality Institute?

A: As far as short-term, I am aiming for the Institute to provide more courses via Teachable and reach as many people out there as possible; people need to know that there is real help out here for them for their problems, but I’ve noticed that they either get caught up into some quick-fix self-help scheme or continue to sink further into their coping mechanisms out of ignorance of innovations like ‘The Inner Work Suite.’ We will be expanding upon our promotional & advertising campaign to get people enrolled into the courses across the globe, and we’re seeking additional funding for it at this time. As far as long-term goals, the Ethereality Institute is positioning itself now to become the leading tech company in the world. It’s a very bold statement to make at this point, sure, but we’re aiming high. We expect to strike our target in the long run, and it’ll all be based on the genius innovations we already have in the works.

Q: Are you planning for schools & colleges to pick up your company’s courses?

A: Yes, because I recognize that education on emotional intelligence & baggage is lacking in the education industry. As the chief instructor of these courses at our company, I see the short-term and long-term benefits of what my courses are offering. You can go to and graduate with honors from the most prestigious university or high school in the world, but if you still have unresolved baggage from past traumatic events controlling your current behaviors and habits, then all the teaching and instruction you’ve received can be compromised, limited, and even distorted. Having emotional intelligence helps you understand how emotional baggage influences everything about you, from your perception of the world to the way you cope with challenging situations in life. I would like universities and high schools to have their students take ‘The Inner Work Suite’ to ensure that their students are emotionally sound and balanced individuals in their chosen fields of profession and/or study. I even plan to release a child-friendly version of this course to target middle/intermediate and elementary schools so that those young minds can already be equipped with the tools to deal with any emotional trauma as it arises throughout their lives.

Q: Do you have any plans to teach your content internationally?

A: Absolutely. The Institute will be especially looking at those countries and nations abroad whose populations have suffered some sort of trauma-inducing events such as genocide, sex trafficking, war, etc. We plan to work with translators to get our courses out there in as many different languages as possible; emotional baggage transcends any lingual, cultural, or regional barriers, and ought to be dealt with accordingly. Another one of our short-term goals is to offer our ‘Inner Work Suite’ course to corporations and small companies domestic and international; emotional baggage does negatively impact work productivity and daily workplace politics, so we plan to tap into that market as well.
