CSIOS Corporation, a provider of cyberspace operations and cybersecurity services to the U.S. Government, was awarded the prestigious 2018 Maryland Cybersecurity Defender of the Year Award. The award was presented before a sold–out crowd of 300 attendees during the 2nd Annual Maryland Cybersecurity Awards Celebration, hosted by the non–profit Cybersecurity Association of Maryland, Inc. (CAMI), in partnership with PNC Bank and Point3 Security, at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore, Maryland. CSIOS Corporation was honored with the accolade which signifies an exceptional Maryland cybersecurity services company that has succeeded in protecting businesses or government entities from cyber threats, attack and/or damages.

Among its many accomplishments, CSIOS spent nearly 2 years fusing its cyberspace operations and cybersecurity services with U.S. Government cybersecurity requirements and proven globally recognized ISO standards. The Maryland–based veteran owned–small business is holder of quadruple ISO certifications under ISO 9001: 2015 (Quality Management System), ISO/IEC 20000–1: 2011 (Information Technology Service Management System), ISO 22301: 2012 (Business Continuity Management System), and ISO/IEC 27001: 2013 (Information Security Management System) with a one–of–a–kind cyber scope: The “Provision of Cyberspace Operations (Defensive, Offensive, and Information Network Operations) and Cybersecurity services to U.S. Federal customers worldwide.”

In pursuit of excellence and higher standards of services to U.S. Federal customers, Cesar Pie, President and CEO of CSIOS Corporation, had the foresight to redefine the boundaries of its cyber services by baking–in its cyberspace operations and cyber services with applicable Executive, National, and Federal cybersecurity requirements and best standards for quality, information technology, business continuity, and information security service management. This first–class level–of–service approach has allowed CSIOS to establish and facilitate a continual assessment and improvement process that introduces, verifies, and validates needed process changes and corrective actions—all critical to maintain high–level service objectives (i.e., protection, monitoring, detection, analysis, diagnosis, and response) fluctuating in accord with the differing operational threat environments they are designed to support. As described by Mr. Pie, “By implementing a plan, do, check, act best practice approach, CSIOS has more than harmonized compliant–and–mission–ready cybersecurity services—it has raised the bar—unlocking a new service delivery level that is changing expectations and requirements of U.S. Government customers worldwide.”

The logic behind CSIOS’ monumental effort is quite significant. CSIOS’ compliant–and–mission–ready cyber services has enabled the company to deliver high quality and cost–effective and efficient solutions to its government customers—solutions that are uniquely tailored to meet its client’s distinctive statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements and evolving attack surfaces, operational threat environments, and mission priorities. The unique level of cyber services provisioned by this veteran owned–small business is not going unnoticed. CSIOS has landed a spot among the 50 Most Valuable Brands of the Year 2018 by “The Silicon Review” Magazine. CSIOS Cyberspace Operations Team was also named winner of a Gold Stevie® Award in the Information Technology Team of Year category in The 16th Annual 2018 American Business Awards®.
