Q: Why does IPMC emphasize ‘humanity’ and ‘ethics’ rather than merely following technological changes?

A: Improving human beings in a genomic level is quite a scary imagination, but it is not technically impossible with today’s technology and it is possible to change and edit the genes busing stem cells, which would cross the line of humanity. This is why we emphasize that ethics should be the key to maintaining humanity.

IPMC has seen the solutions to these global issues regarding the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the human beings; the solution and the starting point of every issue, and from the environment surrounding humanity. The core of IPMC is humanity; and the core of humanity is ethics. IPMC shall not only lead the area of precision medicine, but will further lead on personalized services industry that is believed to be the core of the great wave of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The core value of IPMC is to make humanity live in the most humane way. This will enable the progression of public good in the end. The core of this public good should also be based on ethics that should be restored in the light of humaneness.
