Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Kelly Roofing?
A: Kelly Roofing believes roofing can be done better. We do this by caring, communicating and consistency and back up all the work we do with the Kelly Clean Guarantee. Our goal is to be referred by every client and this attention to detail has earned the prestigious award of America’s 2019 Contractor of the Year.
Q: You’ve recently donated the materials and labor for a deserving local family; could you tell us something more?
A: We’ve seen over the years how out of town roofers come into the area after a hurricane and work on roofs without the proper permits, licensing, or knowledge of the requirements of tile roofing or local building codes. This creates bigger issues as either the homeowner’s roof is left unfinished or leaks start within a few months or years. This is due mostly to improper or missing flashing. There is also the fact that some of these devious roofers bill the insurance company for more services (such as painting interior walls) than they provide the homeowner, often through the use of an Assignment of Benefits (which is now illegal in Florida). This leaves unhappy and ripped off homeowners who have leaky roofs and no recourse for the resulting repairs to be made.
A core value at Kelly Roofing is “Family helping Others”. Through our free roof program, we are able to implement this value in our community.
Our partnership with Habitat for Humanity has put us in the position to help hundreds of these deserving families with secure shelter from leaks and storms while through our free roof program. Habitat for Humanity interviewed nine families to receive the gift of a roof and narrowed the list down to five. These are typically families who are not able to replace their roof on their own. The damage to their roof is so severe water is leaking into the home every time it rains. After interviewing those five families again, they know who has the greatest need for the roof. Kelly Roofing is committed to replacing the roofs of the four remaining families. Our customers are also helping through donations of time, money and recommendations.
Our team works directly with each family from start to finish. After the initial shock of receiving a free roof, the family receives a customized experience just as any customer as they select their favorite colors and roofing options. Upon completion, we have the satisfaction of knowing the family is safe with a sturdy roof over their head that will last for years to come.

Q: What types of services do you provide to your clients?
A: Kelly Roofing is a full-service roofing contractor. We do roof repair and replacement for shingle, tile, metal, and flat roofs. We also work on skylights, insulation, seamless gutters, and wind mitigation.
We are an Owens Corning Premier Preferred contractor, which means we are in the top 1% of trusted roofers in the nation. We provide our customers with the highest trained crew and the best warranties available in the industry.
The service we are most excited about makes roofs last longer in South Florida. This is our Roofiversary program, an every-other-year inspection, maintenance and cleaning service. With our patented cleaning product, we can safely clean tile roofs to remove black streaks caused by algae growth. Our product, Roof Rain, also protects the roof from algae growth for two years.
The reason we’re passionate about providing Roofiversary is because we have seen so many roofs damaged by professional cleaning companies. They come in with high-pressure washers and walk across the tile roof with no training on how to properly traverse the roof without causing more damage. The high pressure of the water also enlarges the natural pores of the tile where alga has made its home. The chemicals used also soak into the tile and wears it down faster in addition to harming the landscaping as it runs off the roof.
The great thing about our cleaning process is we use our proprietary natural cleaning agent, Roof Rain, with a soft wash. It gently removes the algae from the roof without further harming the tile. Roof Rain is natural so not only will it not etch your tile, but it also won’t harm your kids, pets, landscape or the environment. It washes away easily with water.
