Q: Cody, can you tell us something more about Udemy?
A: Udemy is a learning company that empowers organizations and individuals with flexible and effective skill development. Powered by a dynamic and agile content engine, Udemy’s community of more than 71,000 instructors is the core of our vibrant and healthy consumer marketplace of more than 54 million learners.
Udemy Business (UB), an employee training and development platform, has a customer base of more than 12,500 organizations, including 57 of the Fortune 100. UB also features content in 14 different languages, allowing companies to be inclusive and ensure these learning opportunities can be accessed by employees across multiple markets in their native languages. The platform offers a variety of learning methods including on-demand learning through our marketplace-driven curated course content, cohort-based learning for leadership development and immersive learning through labs, workspaces and assessments.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: Udemy is thrilled to be expanding its content library by launching a new course with The RBL Group titled “Accelerating HR’s Business Impact.” The RBL Group is led by Dave Ulrich, a renowned strategist and professor at the University of Michigan – Ross Business School, focusing on leadership and development in the HR management field. This new partnership further expands Udemy’s commitment to empower organizations and individuals with flexible and effective skill development as they look to deepen their competencies and further scale distribution.
The need for constant upskilling and reskilling has never been more critical as 87% of executives admit they’re already facing major skills gaps. To help combat this, Udemy is working with more HR and L&D leaders than ever before to help them quickly address these skills gaps (especially with many companies experiencing hiring freezes) so they can continue driving positive business outcomes.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: The “Accelerating HR’s Business Impact” program offers learners a combination of self-paced activities, collaborative discussion forums and expert-led online events. Upon completion, learners will receive a dual-certificate from RBL and The University of Michigan.
Dave Ulrich will also be leading another program titled “Developing Talent” to guide leaders on how to engage and empower their teams, attract and nurture talent, adopt an inclusive mindset and increase employee engagement.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: Partnerships will continue to be a focus for Udemy. Our engagement with organizations and learners is ongoing and increasingly personalized to help them meet their personal and professional goals.
