Q: Walter, can you tell us why do you do what you do?

A: I spent much of my life as a corporate lawyer and investor. Investing in solutions for climate change from the early 2000s was not easy, but times are changing and the world is understanding the importance of investing in sustainable solutions. By applying what I’ve learned as a project developer and strategic advisor, I believe we can have great impact and change the way we think about sustainability investing.

Q: You’ve recently announced an agreement to expand the ClimateTrade Carbon Credits platform into the US; could you tell us something more?

A: Yes, we partnered with ClimateTrade because they’re at the cutting edge of using the latest blockchain technology to make buying and selling carbon credits easier, and more effective. Their platform is exactly the type of idea we believe will be successful in creating this transformation in the convergence of energy and technology.
