Below is our recent interview with Andrew Witkin, Chief Executive Officer at StickerYou:

Q: Andrew, what is your company story?

A: I was inspired during a walk on Los Angeles’ Manhattan Beach when I noticed how stickers played a huge role in the local scene and culture. During this inspiring trip to California, I saw firsthand stickers’ vital role in daily life. When I returned to Toronto, I researched various methods for buying stickers and soon realized how prohibitively expensive it is for individuals to purchase high-quality custom stickers. I set out to change this, and in 2008 I leveraged my innate passion for business and branding and StickerYou was born.

Since its establishment, StickerYou has grown substantially to become the best platform in the world for creating custom products. Every one of my team members is passionate about providing individuals with the highest quality custom stickers, labels, decals, temporary tattoos and more. And what I am also proud of is our website offers proprietary die-cut production technology to help individuals create and order their products exactly as they need them.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: We’ve recently headlined reputable news sites as we set out not only to add two new categories to our expansive line of custom products, partner with Holt Renfrew and other well-known retail companies but also as we leverage rising art and design trends to revolutionize merchandise customization.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: As an e-commerce leader with a catalogue of more than 60 featured products, we offer custom-printed and die-cut products that empower businesses and consumers to create professional-grade materials for marketing, packaging, décor and personal expression. One of our notable offerings is our new art category pages and our Sticker Maker. At the moment, we’re revamping our category page customization which will allow for endless possibilities when it comes to customization.

This is important because we don’t want to be the company who creates millions of Heinz Ketchup bottle labels. We want to be for everyone else – including small businesses who sell homemade ketchup, or a family who has a ‘secret’ recipe. We’re enabling that audience to have endless customization options of the best quality at an affordable cost (with no minimum order quantity).

Q: What can we expect from your company in the next six months? What are your plans?

A: We’re putting great emphasis on retail partnerships and B2B partnerships. Over the next few months, we’ll be bringing more customization options to the market. These include emoji stickers and new, greater ideas for QR code stickers. However, our next moves are on the lowdown, but exciting times are ahead!
