Below is our recent interview with Shafonne Myers, the Founder and CEO at Aisle Society:

Q: Shafonne, can you tell us something more about your company?

A: Aisle Society is a wedding media company and digital marketing agency, made up of over 25 wedding publications with an inspired new way to play your wedding from editors across the globe. Our mission is to help the world realize that EVERYbody deserves to feel beautiful on their wedding day by having publications that are inclusive of size, ethnicity, sexual orientation and religious backgrounds. We also have a software component to our company that helps wedding and event professionals increase their marketing efforts by submitting their content and being matched with one of our publications. This takes the hassle out of not knowing who to submit to and how to do it because based on the style and theme of the submission they are matched to a publication that is a perfect fit and it’s an easy and seamless process.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement? Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: Yes we have a website and resource for couples planning their wedding. They can go to one site to check out all the amazing content from wedding blogs from across the world instead of going to all the individual sites. We also have our software Matchology that matches wedding vendors with publications to get published and featured in so they can increase their marketing efforts for more online exposure and SEO boosting.

Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: Love this question. So many things on the horizon. We are building out guides and a shop for couples to find all their wedding planning needs online on Aisle Society. And creating Aisle Society Pros which will be our digital marketing and publicity program that helps wedding, event and lifestyle vendors who aren’t quite ready for 1:1 management, that I offer in my consulting firm, of their marketing and publicity to either learn it themselves or get a team member to be trained on how to do their own marketing and pr. I am very passionate about teaching people how to do things, especially knowing that I was once a person who couldn’t afford to have a pr and marketing management team, so this is a project that is dear to my heart to really help wedding, event and lifestyle professionals get the help they need so they can build their influence, impact and income.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: That it is being run from someone who created it all and decided to not let it die when things were falling apart in 2020. I knew that there was going to be something that I could learn and bring back to the wedding industry. Most people don’t know that I left the wedding industry for a little while and went to learn online marketing. This is where I helped with multi million dollar launches, helping my clients and business partners close over $15 million in revenue and knew this experience needed to come back to the creative industry. So after being trained by one of the top online marketers in his exclusive business coaching program I have made it my mission to help entrepreneurs create their personal brand, curate authentic content online and cultivate high level relationships helping them increase their influence, impact and income. And that knowledge is what I’m bringing back to the company in some of our newest offerings and the wedding and event industry.
