Q: You recently launched two products on the same day. Why and How?
A: I was passionate about two things and I went through a long debate with myself of which one I pursue first. I even tried to offer one of the products in a different solution format to someone I partner with on a separate venture. At one point, I told myself ‘why do I have to choose? Imagine you had twins and do both’. I decided to pursue both and figured out a way to split my time and resources to focus on each.
Q: Could you please introduce our readers with brief introduction of Launchise & Career Companion?
A: Launchise is an iOS app for people in love with entrepreneurship. It’s a community and platform to explore startups and ideas, get feedback and insights on your ventures, and find people to collaborate with to build and scale your business.
Career Companion is for anyone who is passionate about their career and needs the support to succeed. It’s the first comprehensive career platform providing you the one-stop space to manage your career in a simple, effective, and flexible way. Career Companion platform complies tools, processes, and techniques to help you design your career blueprint, prepare for career success, and drive career fulfillment.

Q: Can you provide the details of how Launchise and Career Companion work?
A: Launchise it a two sided community, so it works with differently based on what type of user you are. We think of all of our users as Entrepreneurs and/or Explorers. Entrepreneurs are people who provide a product or service solution. Explorers are people who want to part of the solution by being an investor, advisor, employees, cofounder etc.
Entrepreneurs can publish their startup or just a business idea on Launchise. Once they publish it, the whole user community of Launchise will see that as a venture. Each person can view the venture, along with all the details, and provide feedback. The feedback is very simple. They pick from two icons and it triggers options for the user to select why they made that specific choice. The entrepreneur can see the data of who likes/dislikes their product and why. Additionally, each user has a profile with some basic information and preferences so people can connect and chat for collaboration opportunities.
Career Companion is like a companion for your career. A user can log in and manage all aspects of their career. There are few core components of Career Companion, starting with the modules to better understand oneself with five key aspects:
1. Career Questions
2. Career Goals
3. Career Competencies
4. Career Assets
5. Career Assessments
Then, there are modules to help you manage your job search and succeeding in a specific role:
1. Job Funnel
2. Job Details
3. Interview Readiness
Finally, there are modules to help with day-to-day learnings:

Q: What is unique about each of these products?
A: Launchise is unique because it provides users the ability to gather feedback at a very early stage, including when you are just ideating. Also, it helps be find the right people to build and scale your business.
Career Companion is actually a first comprehensive career platform that lets you manage your career in a systematic way. Traditionally, people have used google docs and email to manage all this information about their career. I wanted to combine those best practices in a product that helps streamline how you think about and manage your career.

A: My plans for next six months is to expand the community of entrepreneurs and explorers on Launchise. For Career Companion, I would like to better understand our users needs and expand our platform to include mentorship aspect.
Q: What resources do you provide for your users?
A: With Launchise, we have an entire resources section on our website that provides how to think about your business model, timed pitch templates, marketing & sales frameworks etc.
With Career Companion, we actually have 100+ career resources within the platform that includes blogs, assets & interview tools like resume builders, organizations, job boards, and Career Companion picked tools.
