EezyBee is a community driven online service marketplace built to be a comprehensive tool that can provide equitable accessibility to opportunities and affordable services to everyone in the community. EezyBee connects local service seekers and service providers based on their geographical location and proximity to each other, enabling services to be offered and received within the general local community circle. Below is our interview with Izza Jahari, the founder of EezyBee:

Q: What are main benefits for Service providers?

A: EezyBee offers a seamless end-to-end experience for local service providers, allowing them to offer trustworthy, affordable and reliable services, to gain better visibility and connect with their local communities, and to create a sustainable source of income (full time or part time) using the platform. Service providers can also benefit from the full-spectrum utility of EezyBee, being able to manage their whole service process on the platform, from marketing to scheduling, offering the service, as well as receiving payment and issuing invoices and receipts. Service providers can also dispute payments, discuss aspects of their work, and negotiate times and prices with service seekers. Payment is also automatic so service seekers do not have to worry about not being compensated for their work, or carrying change, or credit card readers, and so on. EezyBee’s comprehensive service management platform is really unique and all inclusive, allowing for a satisfactory experience to all parties. To start one’s own business is costly and carries a fair bit of risk. With EezyBee, we have paved the way for service providers to start their own businesses without nearly as much cost or risk involved. Q: What are main benefits for Service users?

A: EezyBee offers a seamless and targeted digital platform for service seekers / users to identify, receive, manage, and complete transactions for successfully performed services from service providers in the local community at large. For one, it is a very user-friendly and comprehensive tool. We have removed all of the unnecessary steps you typically see in online service-based platforms and created a simple and streamlined process, allowing anyone to jump in and use. Everything is also transparent; all service details, such as pricing, are stated up front. That way, you can choose the most ideal option for you without having to waste your time chasing quotes, dealing with back and forth communication, and losing interest and wasting time. Service seekers also have the option to rate their providers, explore their service history, dispute payments and negotiate prices, all within the EezyBee platform, transferring a lot of power to the service user, ensuring a fairer and more transparent service marketplace. Our user interface is unique as well. We feature an engaging user dashboard in which you can view a map of your area and see which services are offered and how far they are from your location. Oh…and of course it’s free to sign up. Service seekers can also benefit because EezyBee gives them access to numerous local services, all at their fingertips. They can also easily manage and monitor all of their services and transactions. Q: How does EezyBee work?

A: EezyBee’s user experience is simple and user friendly. Service Users /Seekers can request services from providers. Service Providers can offer services to service seekers. It works both ways. Once a seeker hires a service provider, they’ll create a mutually agreed upon service schedule. Once the schedule has been created, the provider will perform the service, and will then notify the seeker once the service is complete. The seeker confirms the service is to their satisfaction and payment happens automatically (every Sunday) ensuring a safe and transparent transaction environment. Also, being paperless and cashless gives additional security, and is of course, good for our environment.

Q: What geographic markets are you focusing on currently?

A: We have launched EezyBee in the Bay Area and are currently reaching out the urban demographics where EezyBee could have the most utility in providing avenues for the community members to earn additional income through offering services built around their skills, talents, or hobbies and can improve their financial wellbeing to help cope with the continuously increasing cost of living.

Also, through partnership and extensive marketing activities, we have started to reach out to other geographic markets within North America as well as Asia Pacific.

Q: How do you envision EezyBee’s impact on a community will be?

A: We think EezyBee is a great platform because it has the potential to positively change the way we live.

We can improve our communities’ cohesion by supporting better conduct, compliance, and quality of services offered. We want to create better social connections, trust, and reliability among our communities but ensuring that transactions are fair and transparent and available on an open marketplace.

At the same time, EezyBee offers the community access to and engagement with more affordable services that are more community driven and localized, rather than distant high margin profit driven services, allowing Service Users and Seekers to have better choice and to make more money. Much like the food movement is going local with, for example, locally grown vegetables, we want to localize the service exchange marketplace through EezyBee. This allows users to have both an improved quality of life and financial wellbeing at the same time.

By freeing up more time, we allow our users to improve their health and wellness. Seekers can hire affordable services and free up their time to spend it on doing the things they love most, while Providers can earn more and spend less time seeking out customers, allowing them to have a more comfortable lifestyle for themselves and their families.

We also care very much about environmental conservation. That is why we have created a complete, end-to-end, digital and paperless experience for all users of EezyBee.

And of course, who could forget the economy at large. The service sector is the major driving force in our global economy…with over 70% of the world’s GDP derived from the service sector. By exploiting untapped opportunities and avenues for generating income, we can greatly contribute to a positive economic impact.

Q: What are your plans for 2018?

A: We are participating in numerous public events and campaigns to help spread awareness of EezyBee and what it has to offer. We are also creating a viral marketing campaign to show how EezyBee can benefit both service seekers and providers. This includes press release in reputable outlets to showcase the utility of the platform and generate awareness. In addition, we’re diversifying our marketing strategies by using various types of media to spread the message, including social media, publications, audio, video, and on-site live demonstrations. We are also in the process of establishing a collaboration with local government and community centers all over California to provide awareness on the availability and utility of EezyBee for the community to tap opportunities. We’re hoping EezyBee will become the hub of choice and preference for all service-related needs locally, the tool that everybody will rely on for everyday use, and the solution that improves your overall quality of life by giving us the freedom to pursue what makes us happy. We’re confident we can make this happen.

Q: How would you convince the reader to start using EezyBee?

A: We want to partner with our users themselves. We are implementing a significant rewards program (such as coupons to receive a service for free) for continuously using the platform to encourage user sign up and to reward recurring users. We’re also hoping to implement cashback rewards and the option to pay for services with credit card points.

For providers, we plan to create several features, such as EezyBee titles, that will validate and increase their credentials and perception among service seekers. We are working to create a fair and transparent ranking system for services and to consistently improve the user experience.

For both seekers and providers, we’ll also be offering specialized membership deals such as offering flat rates of withdrawal/payment processing fees for early adopters and loyal users, and a few other programs like that. I think early adopters will really benefit from EezyBee and need to explore the options available.

Overall, I think I would say the first thing to do is to visit and explore the platform.
