Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Ship Skis?

Q: Tell us more about your history. How did you start?

A: Ship Skis was founded in 2014. We knew that the ski industry needed a solution similar to our partner brand, Ship Sticks for golfers. Which is how Ship Skis was created. Traveling by yourself usually involves bringing 3 different bags. People traveling with their families are really faced with logistics complications. Ship Skis has helped thousands of skiers and snowboarders travel hassle-free across the globe to their favorite winter destinations.

Q: How Ship Skis works? Is it complicated?

A: The Ship Skis service is pretty easy. You simply schedule your shipment online at ShipSkis.com. Select the type of bags you would like to ship (skis, snowboard, boot bag and/or luggage), and select your shipping dates. From there, a pickup is scheduled at the address of origin so you don’t have to worry about lugging them to a drop-off location unless of course, this option is more favorable for you. On your scheduled shipping date, you’ll print and attach your shipping labels, and ensure your bags are readily available for the driver. Once picked up you’ll receive real-time tracking updates as your bags head to their final destination. Ship Skis also has a dedicated tracking team to ensure your bags arrive safely and on-time. With your extra time you gained from not waiting at baggage claim, you can spend more time on the slopes.

Q: What are your clients saying about you? Are they happy?

A: Our customers love our hassle-free service. They won’t ever travel with their ski and snowboard gear again through the airport or in the car. Q: What type of customer would benefit the most from your service?

A: An avid skier or snowboarder who enjoys spending more time on the slopes and less time waiting at baggage claim. These people travel anywhere from 1-5+ times a year. Families benefit as well due to the amount of gear they need. An average family is about 5 individuals. Factor in, a set of skis and a snowboard for the parents, along with each kid having one of those. Now, they need to pack their boots, heavy ski jackets, and snow pants along with other needed essentials when not on the slopes. This alone can be 3 bags per person that they are checking with the airlines. We see a lot of our returning customers fall into one of these categories.
