Q: Can you tell us something more about Residential Assisted Living National Convention?
A: The RAL National Convention is the Residential Assisted Living industry’s opportunity to come together to network, collaborate and celebrate.
This year is the 3rd annual event and we are expecting over 500 people from around the country.
This event is for owners, operators, investors and anyone that is interested in learning how to profit from the huge opportunity in Senior Housing and Assisted Living that is coming our way.
Q: What should we expect?
A: Key note speakers include:
- Harry S. Dent Jr. NY Times best selling author, economist and demographic futurist. He is the author of “The coming of the Demographic Cliff”
- Dr. Bill Thomas. Founder of the Green House Project and Eden Alternatives
- Jonathan Goldsmith AKA, “The Most Interesting Man In The World” will also be joining us.
- There will be over 20 educational sessions over the course of the convention.

Q: How is this convention changing the future of retirement?
A: With 77,000,000 Baby Boomers growing older by the day, Assisted Living is becoming a “hot topic” across America today. On average 10,000 people turn 65 every day and 4,000 people turn 85. That is 1,400,000 people turning 85 this year and every year for the next 20+ years. Not all of them will need Assisted Living but hundreds of thousands of them will. That is the opportunity.
The average cost per person per month is $4,000 nationwide. Many people can not afford that and are unprepared. That is a crisis. There are only about 1,000,000 beds in the US at this time for Assisted Living and that is the opportunity.
Residential Assisted Living is a disruption to the Assisted Living Industry. Just like AirBnB and Uber were to their industry. There are over 30,000 of these homes in America today and the need for them is growing every single day.
Q: Is it sold out already? What’s the price for getting in? Any discount available?
A: There are over 400 people registered for this event already and we are limiting it to 600 attendees.

Q: Can you give us insights into your schedule plan?
A: We are starting the event on Thursday eveningwith cocktails and heavy horderves and networking. Friday starts at 8am and we are holding our annual awards banquet that evening. Saturday is 8am too 4pm. Sunday there is a free bonus training with Gene Guarino, the Founder of the Residential Assisted Living Academy. Pre-registration is required and that is nearly full at this time.

Q: What are your plans for 2020?”
A: Our goal is to help people open 1,000 RAL homes across the country by the end of 2020.
The RAL National Association, launched in 2018 is targeting 1,000 members by the end of the convention and 5,000 members by the end of 2020.
