Q: Give us a little background on Vast Conference.
A: Our customers utilize our HD audio conferencing with online, local and international coverage, complementary features like call recording and transcription, and range of available customizations. Our video conferencing allows folks to meet face to face, share content and collaborate in real time. And of course, take meetings on the go with our mobile experiences.
Q: How is the popularity of video conferencing impacting business?
A: Tremendously. Today, there’s significant demand for high-quality online interactions needed to conduct business no matter where you or your clients, colleagues or teams may be. At the end of the day, conferencing positively impacts a company’s budget and business outcomes. Meeting online saves on travel costs while using real-time screen sharing with video conferencing gets folks on the same page, for example increasing the likelihood of closing deals with live, visually impressive sales presentations.

Q: Who is using conferencing today?
A: Our customers vary from solo-preneurs to global businesses with worldwide locations and remote staffing. What they have in common is the need to connect and get work done. Our platform provides them the tools to do so. Of course, conferencing accomplishes team meetings and client presentations, but today conferencing with all of its functionalities is also used for industry-specific needs from high-touch investor relations calls for thousands of participants to one-on-one telehealth sessions to conducting legal depositions.
Q: On the technology level, what makes Vast Conference’s product distinct in the marketplace.
A: With Vast Conference, conferencing is re-imagined with patent pending Infinity Switch Technology. This proprietary new architecture allows us to scale horizontally the number of concurrent conferences, as well as vertically in terms of the total amount of participants in those meetings at any one point in time. Our development team focuses on designing this best-in-class product by constantly iterating and improving the meeting experience based on our customer’s needs and new technology advancements.

A: You’d be hard-pressed to deny the impact potential of AI. In our industry, we can begin applying some level of this to meetings in areas such as auto-transcriptions and notes, directed action items and audience sentiment detection. We’ll also be looking to expanded further into partner ecosystems and focusing on complementary workflows and tech stack packages.
